I am obsessed with this series and highly recommend it to anyone into books with magic, dystopias, and survivor themes. I love the character development with Ruby, Liam, Zu, and Chubs. I’ve reread this book four times now and remember something differently every time. The system developed around the different powers is really cool and I love how Bracken goes on to delve further into the complexities of the children’s powers in the upcoming books. Highly recommend!
